Description

This hard-wearing 1969 messenger bag is made from high quality canvas and is still in great vintage condition. It features belt hooks and roomy internal compartments, plus a long strap for wear on the shoulder and cross body. Bread bags such as this one were first issued by the German Army in the early 20th century to hold food rations on the front lines and continued to be used in WWI and WWII in Eastern Europe.
