A FATHER AND SON LEGACY

At Alpha Industries, we are proud of our family legacy. When we launched in 1959, the brand was under the leadership of Samuel Gelber and we were responsible for the creation of the iconic MA-1 flight jacket, N-3B parka, and the M-65 field coat for the military.

When Samuel passed away in 1982, his son-in-law, Alan Cirker took the reins. In the years that followed, we continued to develop styles for our military and expand our retail business. In 2011, Mike Cirker, Alan’s son and Samuel’s grandson, stepped into the role of CEO. 

Three generations of leaders, three generations of family— here’s to all the fathers out there who have opened doors and paved the way for the next generation.
